Animal Friends of Connecticut (AFOC) is a 501 (c) (3) non- profit no-kill rescue organization, located in central Connecticut serving our local community in New Britain and beyond. AFOC’s mission is to increase the quality of life of the cats entrusted to us by providing them with exceptional care, protection, and loving compassion. We rescue stray, abandoned, abused, and special needs cats in the communities we serve. Our cats are given medical care, vaccinations, are spayed or neutered and are cared for at our no-kill humane shelter or in foster homes until they are adopted into a loving forever home.
