Peaceful Paws Springs is committed to advocate for homeless, neglected, abused and abandoned animals. We foster these animals by providing housing, food, medical care and affection until they either become adopted or expire. We are an animal rescue located in the country of Jessamine County Kentucky We are a only no kill sheltered serve our county and nearby counties including in a very rural, very economically disadvantaged area of Eastern Kentucky. We are located on 5 1/2 acres and hope to build our current location to serve 50-75 animals. We have recently relocated due to the terminal illness of the original founder of Peaceful Paws Springs, inc. We have no paid staff, the rescue is run by volunteers only. Because this is such a low-income area, we are struggling to obtain funds. We are new and dedicated to the cause. Because we are all volunteer we are able to do much with very little. We plan to sponsor spay and neuter for needy families and help provide them pet food and medicines. We spend our limited funds in the local community whenever possible and try to be good stewards of the land we occupy.
