Cause Description:
The WC DART Team Responds to animals in disaster situations. The Team will house and shelter displaced animals, animals running at large during a disaster in compliance with the Pets Act of 2006, or in cases Animal Control is in overwhelm or to assist the Emergency Management Agencies. WC DART conducts Search and Rescue Operations for animals running at large, post disaster taking them to safety to avoid injury and disaster complications. Keeping animals safe, keeps humans safe. Safety is our first priority. The All- Volunteer Team members are credentialed by the State of TN The All- Volunteer Team members are credentialed by the State of TN Association, Community Emergency Response Certified, Maintaining high standards of response training throughout the year.
