The Grand Central Neighborhood Social Services Corporation is committed to bringing Midtown Manhattan's homeless population off of the streets and in to permanent housing. We offer both basic necessities (i.e. food, clothing, showers etc.) and a range of social services including employment counseling, treatment referrals and of course, housing placement. Unlike many social service agencies, we do not require that our clients enter our offered programs in order to receive immediate assistance with regard to food and shelter. We acknowledge that for some, simply coming in off of the streets is a significant step in itself.
