Cause Description:
The Northland Volunteer Center promotes volunteering for residents of Northern St. Louis, Lake and Cook Counties by assisting people of all ages  including families -- to find meaningful volunteer opportunities in their communities and then supports them in their efforts by providing excess accident/liability insurance and recognition for their service. NVC also provides education and information on volunteer issues, networking meetings, and sponsors special volunteer events like the annual Volunteer Fair, Purple Ribbon Recognition, and Hall of Fame Volunteer Awards. NVC is supported solely by memberships and donations.
