Fred H. is the iGive Super Shopper for the month of December! In only one month, he raised over $150 for his cause, Fisheries Conservation Foundation, of Champaign, IL.
Kim Stanhope sent us the following update:
We at the Fisheries Conservation Foundation work hard to promote and preserve freshwater and marine fishery resources while informing decision makers on the best management of these resources. We currently are working on several projects:
1) Mahaseer Conservation in Bhutan
2) Bonefish Tracking in The Bahamas
3) Native Fish Conservation Area designation of the Little Tennessee River Basin
As a thank you for all he’s done on behalf of his cause, iGive.com has teamed up with Bass Pro Shops to provide Fred with a $100 Gift Card.
4 Paws Pantry of Chattanooga joined iGive.com just a few short months ago and they already have BIG plans!
From iGive member, Sandi, “With donations from iGive, 4 Paws Pantry will enable struggling pet owners to keep their pets with them, and not have to re-home or surrender them. Besides feeding pets for struggling pet owners, 4 Paws Pantry can assist with cost of spay and neuter for animals in need. Since January 1, 2016, thru the end of July, 4 Paws Pantry has provided over 33,000 meals for pets of needy pet owners, and has kept over 500 pets with their families. Please use iGive and designate 4 Paws Pantry as your charity of choice.”
Nancy D. raised $316 for her cause, Save A Dog, Inc!
Save A Dog is a humane society based out of Massachusetts. They take in dogs who would have otherwise been put to sleep, foster them, provide medical care, and help adopt them out. Dogs come to Save a Dog from all over – many of their dogs actually come from rural West Virginia and Tennessee, where there is a dire need for shelters. For their holiday season, Save a Dog got a HUGE treat – through donations and fundraising they just bought the shelter they’ve been renting for eight years!!
The (just bought) Save A Dog, Inc. shelter!
For her efforts, Nancy will receive a $100 gift card to Amazon.com!
