Kathy B. dropped us a note about her iGive Cause. Paws Crossed Dog Rescue serves the Eastern Panhandle of WV and surrounding counties. This non-profit dog rescue consists of a group of men and women who rescue abused, neglected, unwanted and abandoned animals. These people provide temporary foster homes to these animals until they are adopted. Paws Crossed provides these animals with food and medical needs including spay and neutering.
The foster homes play an essential part, for they do not have kennels for the dogs they rescue. Paws Crossed depends on the fosters, donations of food, supplies and money to be able to continue helping these dogs find their forever homes. All potential fosters and adopters are screened in order to assure the proper fitting home for each dog.
Check out Paws Crossed success stories for some of the cutest furry-friends with their new, loving families.
A love letter to horses from iGive member: Linda J.
I love horses and have always wanted to have a horse since I was a little girl. I met the volunteers from the Colorado Horse Rescue at the National Western Stock Show many years ago and donated to the cute miniature horse they had at the show. That was all it took; my husband and I attended their annual fund raising events and love to see the horses and hear their success stories.

When I learned about the iGive website that offered an easy way to donate and help the horses it was a perfect match for me. I love shopping online and buying from sites that support my favorite cause. I was sad to see a few of the stores I liked no longer offer the donations and hope to see more websites encourage shoppers to support their favorite cause.
Thank you iGive,
We, too, were inspired by the story of these majestic animals & the humans who so lovingly care for them.
Every member has a cause they love, and every cause has a story. Share yours with us today as we spend this year celebrating 20 Years of Giving.
Since joining iGive.com in 2014, Margaret M. continues to support The Foundation for Homeless Cats with her online shopping. In one month, she earned $250+ – Woo Hoo! That’s some true feline affection.
This Phoenix based group of volunteers who work to manage the feral cat population through TNR-TRAP, SPAY/NEUTER, RETURN.
“Our goal- end the killing of these cats in Maricopa County! Euthanasia is NOT population control!”
For her efforts, iGive store Beachbody has provided a great prize for Margaret:
Shanta Wanagi (Sacred Heart Angel) came to the WMS on April 29, 2002. She was 14 days old.
Wolf Mountain Sanctuary is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to the preservation, protection and proper management of wolves in the wild and in captivity. Our purpose and ultimate goal is to save these great noble animals from extinction. Wolf Mountain is home to 18 wolves that were rescued and will live their lives out at the Sanctuary. We receive no funding and rely completely on donations and adoptions. Visitors can interact with our wolves (very few sanctuaries allow this). Our belief is that since our wolves will live with us for the rest of their lives they will receive love and attention from the many humans that cross their paths.
Balto came to WMS from East Texas in late 2013.
iGive member Ellen dropped us this little love note about the Cause:
“Tonya Littlewolf is the director of the Wolf Mountain Sanctuary. This person loves and cares for the wolves, so much she brings them home with her at times… so they won’t be alone. Tonya is a great humanitarian… She makes sure they are fed, healthy and is always working on a better environment for them. I love her for what she does in caring and helping the wolves. When they are sick, she tries to get a vet and ask the people to help donate to pay for their treatment…..Tonya is the best…..”
February is the month to celebrate love – and we’re pretty sure that North Texas Rabbit Sanctuary LOVES Joanie D. Since joining iGive in 2005, Joanie’s online shopping has benefited NTRS to the tune of just over $1,000! That’s a lot of treats for a lot of floppy-eared friends!
All the rabbits that come into NTRS’s care, are given a chance to live and look forward to being adopted into warm, loving homes with caring people.
